I am almost done with my prezi but i just need to put pictures and more information about my family members. I might have forgotten to get more pictures but i got some pictures still so i will put those ones up and i have a lot on my phone so i can get them maybe off of my email. Journal - How did you stop motion animation turn out? If you could give it a grade, what would you give it out of 60 points? What did you learn from creating this video?
I think it turned out pretty good since i have a title and a little introduction and ending credits. I would give my stop animation project probably 58 out of 60 or 57. I learned how animation movies are really created and how you just take pictures on each scene you do in your story or movie which i thought was pretty interesting that i found out about that. I also learned you can have different effects to an animation video.

Well i got all of my pictures over the weekend and now all i have to do is put them on my computer. Well i finished drawing the picture each time i took the pictures and it actually showed movement on each picture while watching each time. Yes, i have all of my pictures for it and i will have all of my pictures by the end of the hour. All i need to do is upload them on my computer from my phone and then i'm done until we do something else with our stop animation motion.

I'm just going to draw a picture that relates to this weather which is fall. My story is going to be telling how to draw this picture and what it's like in fall and what happens during fall. My video will be fun because it's gonna be a drawing so my taking pictures of every step and its gonna have colors. Journal - What story will your storyboard tell? Explain in detail.
My storyboard will tell the instructions on how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. First i took a picture of the things i need to make it for my first slide. The secondly, i put peanut butter on the bread first, later on the third slide i put jelly on it since i already put peanut butter on the other one. Then finally i put the bread on top of the other one and it was finished. I put the materials and everything away so after that i could eat my sandwich before cleaning everything up.

The photo editing tools i have used so far are pixlr. I actually love this tool because it is easy and fun to choose while editing your photos. It's not hard to use at all because it gives you different types of options on editing your photo. Another good thing about it is it has really cool colors and brightness effects that you can use to make it look more clear and colorful. But the one thing you might not like about it is paying for more effects instead of having it to be free. It even has different categories on what kind of edit you can choose on how many photos you want to use. There's even a great frame user that you can add to it to make it look more fancy.

My favorite web tool we have used in class is the text mind map. This is one of my favorite web tools because it really helped me with my information and i liked the special effects needed. I could use it for college or any other type of school if i need to save information on what i'm working on if it is important and you can also use it for a type of job you have that is needed for electronics. My weekend was pretty good but not really the best. On Friday i almost went to the pink out game but i decided to stay home because of the weather but my friends wanted me to go so i just watched movies with my mom and dad. Then on Saturday i went to the talent show to support my friends who were apart of it. Then on Sunday i went to the movies with my family and we went to see the movie "Carrie." It was an OK movie but it was not the best but i still had fun.

Journal - What makes a presentation memorable? What makes a presentation stand out and not boring? How are you going to make your presentation better than anyone else? How will you make it unique? Explain.
By making a presentation memorable you have to make it fun and exciting and not just boring bullet ed points. Also by making a presentation stand out is by having a good attitude while your speaking to the audience and maybe have some cool effects that will get their attention. Well i am using prezi so it will have bright blue colors and it will pop out information and i will have a positive attitude. By saying i can do it and present it and speak up so i wont sound boring to make it more unique then having a mono toned voice the whole time and also look at the audience most times.

Journal - What did you learn from the Ted Talk yesterday? Did you find it interesting or accurate? Explain.
What i learned from the Ted Talk is we all should express our feelings to the person we are talking to instead of having to text them. I also learned from the Ted Talk that we all don't know how to start a conversation usually so that is why most people text each other instead of talking to people in person. I found it interesting to learn about what people feel like when they are talking to someone but they don't know what else to say so they don't know how to express who they are or how they feel.

What i love about the digital age we live in is that every one is kind of similar but different to their own age. What i mostly dislike about digital age is that it can be confusing sometimes while trying to get the hang of it. Some positive ways you can use technology in your life is during school especially for an assignment that's important in order for you to get a good grade on. There can also be if it is for a job that can lead you to better causes and goals in order to raise more money for anything needed. Some things i don't like that comes along with technology would be that it can mess you up sometimes when you are having troubles or even if you are just now learning about technology and it might seem hard once you learn it.

Journal - Tell me about your Homecoming weekend (whether you went to the activities or not!). Tell me about what you did over the weekend.
I went to homecoming with my friend Brynne. Homecoming was probably one of the funnest nights iv'e ever had. First at 4 we got ready and took pictures with our friends and family and later on my friend made Chinese food for us and it was really good. Then when were were done eating it was almost 7:50 so we just decided to leave for homecoming and once we got their we said hi to all of our friends and we piratically dance to every single song that was played and i loved the effects of the dance ball that the D.J. did. Later when the dance was over me friend and i went back to her house because we were having a sleepover and so we changed into comfy clothes and watched a bunch of movies in her loft where they watch movies. The next morning my mom picked me up early and i thought i had really fun.

I actually don't know that much about infographics but i'm guessing it is information about the important data feedback. Journal - What are you weekend plans?
My weekend plans for this weekend is going to Legends and a fancy restaurant with my family so it's kind of a family weekend. On Saturday like i said were going to Legends and maybe somewhere else and then were going out to eat for dinner at Apple Bees or Red Lobster. Then on Sunday i'm getting my homecoming dress and shoes for next week. Probably when we get home from getting my dress, my family and i will watch movies and cook dinner. I cannot remember what else but that's all i have in store.

Journal - Most students view siting work as 'a pain in the butt'. How do you feel about it? Is it necessary? When is it appropriate to cite work? What's the importance of it?
My personal opinion about citing work can be difficult sometimes but usually i think i can go through with making citations through out my work. I also feel that citing work is important while tying an essay especially but i don't usually feel like citing my work since it has to much work involved and i get why most people do not like to cite their work. It is necessary because it is important and it will help you remember your facts and all of your work you typed out or written. Journal - What is your favorite book, magazine, or publication? Why?
My favorite book is Beastly by Alex Flinn. Beastly is my favorite book because it is interesting even through the beginning and i saw the movie also and i thought that was really good to and it is now one of my favorites movies and books. This book is also my favorite movie because it had a very good meaning to every one by saying that everyone is beautiful and you or no one should judge the way you look and a guy experiences what it is like to feel ugly since he had always made fun of other people just by the way they looked especially the witch that turned him into having an ugly face. But it made me realize i should be grateful with the way i look and i love the characters in the movie.

Yes i actually do enjoy writing. The type of writing i enjoy would be fiction stories or anything. Writing is an essential skill in life because it will help you become a better reader and writer and will also make you have some good goals. Writing is something that we all do at some point in time and it really helps you achieve good goals like school or work or anything that is important. I will use writing for important subjects and events during my classes and anything educated so i will become a better writer. Journal - Tell me about your weekend. Where did you go? What did you do?
This weekend i did some fun stuff but it was OK. I think the most fun i did this weekend was going to the movies with my mom and sis on Saturday. The movie we saw was "Insidious Chapter 2" and it's a scary movie. I think it was the most fun because my sis and i got scared but my mom really didn't because she doesn't get scared easily. Then the next day my family and i went to have dinner with my grandparents since we haven't seen them in awhile. The time we got back to our house was around 9:00 or 9:15 and it was on a school night but it was worth it. Even though it still wasn't my best weekend i still had fun with my family.

The person i look up to in life is one of my favorite singers Demi Lovato. I look up to her in life because i think she is a strong person and she encourages others to feel beautiful and happy inside and out and to be proud of who you are. Even though she has gone through some difficult times, she still tries her best to be who she is and she doesn't care what anyone thinks of her and i respect that. What she has done over the years has been inspiring and when i first saw how great of a person and singer she was, she became one of my idols and i have respect for her. One time she quoted saying to all the girls to wipe off all of your makeup and show everyone how beautiful you are and she made me feel like i should be happy with the way i look and to be grateful about my self.

Journal - If there was one big global issue in the world that you could fix, what would it be? A cure for cancer? Save the rain forest? Stop pollution? Think about it and then write about it. Why would you choose that specific issue?
The one big global issue in the world i would fix is cure for cancer. I would want o fix a cure for cancer because it is very upsetting to see your loved ones have to go through it and you would have to see them get hurt and you would not have much time with them like you used to. I chose this topic because everything would be better and other people wouldn't be sad about what their family or friend is going through and you would not have to worry so much. If i could change a cure for cancer it would make everyone happy and most people who do have cancer have to deal with the pain every single day and the people they love around them have to see them suffer and you do not want to them sick and they want them to be healthy and better.

Public Service Announcements is something that is announcing important topics on television or the radio about something that should be announced around the world and something that is also a warning to others so they should know what not to do in case of dangerous situations or tragedies that has happen to a love one very important. If i actually created a PSA my topic would be about Cyber bullying because I've seen a lot of people on websites i am aware of and cyber bullying is wrong and it does hurt others and makes them feel unwanted by all of these mean comments they are posting online about that person. Another reason why i would choose cyber bullying is because it is popular in most states and i think we should encourage people on not making fun of others because it can lead them to bad things and it is not right.

My hobbies are probably hanging out with my friends and family, go for a walk when its warm, listening to music everyday when i get home from school or anywhere, and going to Starbucks Where i mostly spend my free time would be at my house or my friends house also. My three most favorite things would probably be Starbucks, "A Walk To Remember" is one of my favorite movies, my favorite TV show is "Teen Wolf," my favorite color is purple, i also love the movie Beastly because i read the book and i thought it was really good. Another favorite thing of mine is Forever 21, Nike high tops, and the last thing that's my favorite is converse shoes.

Journal - What are some qualities of a good presentation? How can you make a boring presentation interesting? Explain.
Some qualities of a good presentation is your personality, being excited, and also having a good attitude. From making a boring presentation interesting is to maybe make some cool effects to it and not so much words added to your presentation. Another good advice to make your boring presentation interesting you should try to get their attention and make your presentation look interesting because honestly some of the students might not be paying attention if your presentation only involves a lot of words but you can maybe a sentence about one of your topics on a slide but you could put effects to your pictures so they will pay attention to what they look like instead of hearing what they look like. You can also have a good attitude towards your audience and not stand there like you want to be over with your presentation.

Journal - Tell me if you agree with this statement and then
explain why or why not. "Images on the internet are 'free game' - if
someone posted I should be able to use it."
I actually
disagree with the statement saying how " images on the internet are free
game and if someone posted i should be able to use it" i disagree with this statement because i
don't think people should post something that they don't know for sure if its
illegal or not because that could be dangerous if you posted the same image
that the other person on the internet has posted. I also disagree because like i said it could
be illegal to post an image that is not needed and i think other people shouldn't
go off of what other people are doing or saying because it could lead them to a
bad cause which wouldn't be good especially if the person who posted the image
was dangerous and everyone on the internet can see it and you wouldn't be able
to take it back.

Journal - What is the importance of online safety and
protecting your information? What do you do to protect yourself online? Share
an experience you or someone you know has had with online safety.
The
importance of online safety is be careful what you post online and make sure
you know who you are talking to. Another
importance of online is don't communicate with people you don't know online in
case they could be dangerous or they could even locate your address or
something important about you if you give out information which you shouldn't
do. I think you should always be safe
online because if you have something that's private people could post online
like Facebook or even Twitter. If you
want to protect your information you should always keep it to yourself and not
show where other people you don't know can see it. To protect yourself online you should not
share private information to people you don't know you.

Journal - Tell me what you know about Web 2.0. List example Web 2.0 sites. Are you on any sites that let you “post” information? What are those sites? How often do you use them? What do you post on them?
What i know about Web 2.0 is you can post information on different types of websites online. I am on now one of those sites and the sites that i'm aware of are Facebook, Twitter is the one i use, Instagram especially, Vine, Youtube, and the last one is Tumblr. I actually don't usually use Facebook that much since i"v had one for a long time, but the ones that i mainly use are Instagram, Youtube, Twitter, and Vine. I often use those sites everyday but i mostly go on Instagram on my phone after school or any other time, I get on Vine if i want to watch something funny so i actually go on Vine two days a week or even on the weekends, then i get on Youtube every single day because i like to watch entertaining or funny videos that i know, and i only go on Twitter once a week because i don't usually feel like getting on Twitter sometimes. On Instagram i post pictures of course of me, quotes, or of my family and friends, i don't post anything on Youtube because i watch videos instead of putting one up myself, on Vine i post videos of events i'm doing, and on Twitter i post about everything mainly that comes to my mind.

Journal - After watching the short clip of Ashton Kutcher's
acceptance speech what did you take away from his advice? What does this quote
mean to you -"Everything around you that you call life was made up by
people that were no smarter than you, and you can change it, you can influence
it, you can build your own things that other people can use."
After
watching the short clip of the speech, I took away that you have to be smart
and generous. I took that away from his
speech because it is the most important part of who you should be. You also have an opportunity on making your
own choices and do smart things because it leads you to better causes. The other thing I took away is when he said
that everyone around you that makes up this world are not smarter than you and
you should make good choices and believing that being smart and generous is
real.
I think
the quote means that you should make your own choices and not go by what people
say and to go with what you think. It
also means you can make good goals, decisions, choices, and on making a world a
better place. When he said that
everything around you that call life was made up by people that were no smarter
than you and you can change it and influence it, I think that means you can be
strong about what goes on in life and you can change your ways on being a
better person than what other people around you are being. The other thing is believe is you should go
by what you think and no what other people think and be grateful and especially
smart.
