Journal – What is your favorite web tool that we have used in class so far this year? Why is it your favorite web tool? What do you like about it? How can you use it again in the future?

              My favorite web tool we have used in class is the text mind map.   This is one of my favorite web tools because it really helped me with my information and i liked the special effects needed.  I could use it for college or any other type of school if i need to save information on what i'm working on if it is important and you can also use it for a type of job you have that is needed for electronics.  Text mind map can also be for presenting something for a meeting or anything important to your work.

Journal- How was your weekend? What did you do?

           My weekend was pretty good but not really the best.  On Friday i almost went to the pink out game but i decided to stay home because of the weather but my friends wanted me to go so i just watched movies with my mom and dad.  Then on Saturday i went to the talent show to support my  friends who were apart of it.  Then on Sunday i went to the movies with my family and we went to see the movie "Carrie."  It was an OK movie but it was not the best but i still had fun.

Journal - What makes a presentation memorable? What makes a presentation stand out and not boring? How are you going to make your presentation better than anyone else? How will you make it unique? Explain.

                 By making a presentation memorable you have to make it fun and exciting and not just boring bullet ed points.  Also by making a presentation stand out is by having a good attitude while your speaking to the audience and maybe have some cool effects that will get their attention.  Well i am using prezi so it will have bright blue colors and it will pop out information and i will have a positive attitude.  By saying i can do it and present it and speak up so i wont sound boring to make it more unique then having a mono toned voice the whole time and also look at the audience most times.

Journal - What did you learn from the Ted Talk yesterday? Did you find it interesting or accurate? Explain.

                  What i learned from the Ted Talk is we all should express our feelings to the person we are talking to instead of having to text them.  I also learned from the Ted Talk that we all don't know how to start a conversation usually so that is why most people text each other instead of talking to people in person.  I found it interesting to learn about what people feel like when they are talking to someone but they don't know what else to say so they don't know how to express who they are or how they feel.

Journal - What do you love about the "digital age" that we currently live in? What do you dislike about it? What are positives ways you use technology in your life? What are some things that come along with technology that you don't like? Explain.

                What i love about the digital age we live in is that every one is kind of similar but different to their own age.  What i mostly dislike about digital age is that it can be confusing sometimes while trying to get the hang of it.  Some positive ways you can use technology in your life is during school especially for an assignment that's important in order for you to get a good grade on.  There can also be if it is for a job that can lead you to better causes and goals in order to raise more money for anything needed.  Some things i don't like that comes along with technology would be that it can mess you up sometimes when you are having troubles or even if you are just now learning about technology and it might seem hard once you learn it.

Journal - Tell me about your Homecoming weekend (whether you went to the activities or not!). Tell me about what you did over the weekend.

                  I went to homecoming with my friend Brynne. Homecoming was probably one of the funnest nights iv'e ever had.  First at 4 we got ready and took pictures with our friends and family and later on my friend made Chinese food for us and it was really good.  Then when were were done eating it was almost 7:50 so we just decided to leave for homecoming and once we got their we said hi to all of our friends and we piratically dance to every single song that was played and i loved the effects of the dance ball that the D.J. did.  Later when the dance was over me friend and i went back to her house because we were having a sleepover and so we changed into comfy clothes and watched a bunch of movies in her loft where they watch movies.  The next morning my mom picked me up early and i thought i had really fun.

Journal - What do you know about infographics? What do you know about them? What are their purpose?

              I actually don't know that much about infographics but i'm guessing it is information about the important data feedback.  I know that they are used for using a project that is need to set up your information and get organized.  Their purpose is to teach people to be organized and have all of your data information of different graphics in order to have all of your work with you and completed.
